A new Tex-Mex restaurant will be hiring staff for its new location in Norman on Monday.

While it seems there is a day for almost everything, IHOP is hoping you will celebrate "National Pancake Day" with them.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Business is busy at the Original Fried Pies Shop on NW 50th St. near Portland Ave. The pies are a tradition for many, but now word that the Oklahoma-based company is recalling nearly 9,000 pounds of frozen meat and poultry pie fillings.

The USDA said the fillings are being recalled because they contain Sodium Benzoate which was not listed on the packaging.  

It also has not been approved as an additive in meat and poultry.
