NORMAN, Okla. — There were some serious fireworks at the Republican State Convention in Norman Saturday.
People were accusing one another of verbal and physical attacks.
Governor Fallin was even booed when she encouraged delegates to support the presumed nominee, Mitt Romney.
Ron Paul supporters said the Mitt Romney folks started it, but the Romney supporters claim the same of the Paul people.
Now both Republicans and Democrats are speaking out about the chaos.
Matt Pinnell is the chairman of the Oklahoma Republican Party.
He said the convention was messy but fair.
He said, “We don’t have a nominee yet. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Everybody can support whoever they want in the primary but we have to behave in the right way as well. Some of the behavior on Saturday is not going to help us build a majority and it certainly is not going to help us defeat Barack Obama in November.”
